Choir Notes, Wednesday, February 25, 2009

• We'll be singing "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" this Sunday morning.

• Auditions were held for the solo in "Orphans of God"; Although there were six great auditions, the part will be going to Lori Pitts---blessings, Lori, as you prepare to serve in this way!

• Don't forget to mark May 2nd on your calendar, which is our day to minister to the Cobb Street Ministries.

• Remember: Easter is April 12th this year, and the plans are for us to sing "Happy Day" with the High School Choir and College Ensemble.

• Acts 1:8, Global Missions, Inside Out celebrations will be held in late April, as well. We'll be singing for the opening event on Wednesday, April 22nd.

• Run for the Son is this Saturday!

• We'll be hosting the middle school choral festival again in the month of March. There are opportunities to help with this event.

• The High School Choir and Praise Kids will lead in worship this Sunday morning.
• Winter Quarter special activity date is Saturday, May 2nd. We'll be going to the Cobb Street Ministries to do cleaning and light repair work, serve dinner, and present a short concert for them. Mark your calendar!
• Easter is April 12th this year and we will be singing. Also we will be involved in the Acts 1:8 Global Missions, Inside Out celebrations that will take place in late April.
• Lots of new music is coming!

• Easter is April 12th this year and the choir will be singing. Please keep that in mind as you make Spring Break plans.

• Choir date of service for this quarter will be Saturday, May 2nd. More information will follow next Wednesday.

• The adult choir will not be singing this Sunday or the next, but regular Wednesday rehearsals are on schedule. See music listing below.
